Challenge

A global news app must feel fast, credible, and effortless to use—especially for a national broadcaster’s international brand. The challenge was to design an experience that improves content discovery across high-volume news, programs, and formats, while making live broadcast access feel natural and prominent. The interface had to balance strong editorial hierarchy with a modern visual system that communicates trust and quality at first glance.

Solution

We designed a complete UI/UX system for TRT World focused on clarity, performance, and editorial credibility. Navigation and information architecture were refined to surface key stories and programs with minimal friction, supported by readability-first layouts and consistent hierarchy. Live broadcasting was treated as a core product surface with clear entry points and streamlined viewing flows. A reusable component library ensures design consistency and supports future growth.
